The Mystics Mendacity
The knife was hidden from her gaze and from her wisdom and knowledge,
Removed from the sheath it was placed firmly but silently in her back,
Falsehoods of support and friendship against verbal and aggressive assaults,
Sins of the flesh overpowered the truth of the heart of love and friendship,
Temptations brought by devils in their human frames beneath the skin,
Leaving the Mystic Angel shattered from the darkness of betrayal.
